Site work for a water / sewer project in Ridley Park, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The scope of work for this project includes lateral reconnections (7 EA), 8" sanitary sewer replacement (430 FT), 8" sanitary sewer relining (65 FT), manhole installation (2 EA), street restoration (250 SY), and related work. The successful bidder, who is awarded the contract, will be required to pay Program a fee of 1/3 % of the contract award value. There is a minimum award fee of $100.00 and a maximum of $5,000.00. Bidders must confirm the fees associated with bidding through and the successful bidder is responsible for the fees associated with the awarded bid. A bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid, made payable to the Borough of Ridley Park. Attention of bidders is called to all of the requirements contained in this bid packet, particularly to the Federal Labor Standards Provisions and Davis-Bacon and Related Acts, Public Works Employment Verification, Section 3 of the Housing & Community Development Act, various insurance requirements, Central Contractors Registration, various equal opportunity provisions, the requirement for a payment bond and performance bond for 100% of the contract price and a one-year maintenance bond for 10% of the contract price. The Borough of Ridley Park reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids thereof, and waive any informalities in the bidding, as they deem in the interest of the Borough.
