The successful bidder, who is awarded the contract, will be required to pay the PennBid Program a fee of 1/3 % of the contract award value. There is a minimum award fee of $100.00 and a maximum award fee of $5,000.00. Bidders must confirm the fees associated with bidding through PennBid and the successful bidder is responsible for the fees associated with the awarded bid. Attention of Bidders is called to all of the requirements contained in the bid package, particularly to the Pa Prevailing Wage Rates, Public Works Employment Verification, various insurance requirements, various equal opportunity provisions, and the requirements for a payment bond and performance bond for 100% of the contract price and a one-year maintenance bond for 10% of the contract price. The Borough reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or parts thereof, and to waive any informalities in the bidding as is in the best interest of the Borough.
