Reference Number 0000411596 Bid Intent Not Available CDOT Region 2 is seeking bids to perform concrete stabilization services on I25 MM141.3 to lift out the dips in the traveled lanes. It is the intent to inject expanding structural polymer (ESP) beneath the affected areas. The NB dip is noticeably worse than the SB dip. Area affected is assumed the same for both, approx. 3,300 SF each. As to procedure, 3/8 - 5/8" holes should be drilled on about 5' center spacing patterns, probably at joints, usually the lowest points. Then ESP would be injected directly below the area through the drilled holes at the joints to attempt the best possible re-leveling. Also string lines, laser levels, and dial gauges will be used to monitor progress. This will help determine if any additional injection depths are needed to provide long -term stability.
