Reference Number 0000411596 Bid Intent Not Available CDOT Region 2 is seeking bids to perform concrete stabilization services on I25 MM141.3 to lift out the dips in the traveled lanes. It is the intent to inject expanding structural polymer (ESP) beneath the affected areas. The NB dip is noticeably worse than the SB dip. Area affected is assumed the same for both, approx. 3,300 SF each. As to procedure, 3/8 - 5/8" holes should be drilled on about 5' center spacing patterns, probably at joints, usually the lowest points. Then ESP would be injected directly below the area through the drilled holes at the joints to attempt the best possible re-leveling. Also string lines, laser levels, and dial gauges will be used to monitor progress. This will help determine if any additional injection depths are needed to provide long -term stability. The exact field methods may differ some from the above, once on site. Being night work, Traffic Control, and light tower will be provided by CDOT. Contractor needs to give CDOT a two-week notice of schedule to start work. On behalf of the State of Colorado, the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) is issuing this Invitation for Bid for drainage services in the CDOT Region 2 Headquarters parking lot. The desired Contract date is March 5, 2026. The initial term of the Contract shall be one (1) year. Initial term of the Contract shall be from date of execution through the initial term of the award. If a contract, at its sole discretion, the State, upon written notice to the Contractor, may unilaterally renew the term of the Contract for one (1) additional term of 1 year, including, but not limited to prices, rates and service delivery requirements. The total duration of the Contract, including all options, is not anticipated to exceed two (2) years.
