Site work for a water / sewer project in Springfield, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

The project consists of combined sewer improvements in downtown Springfield. Specific work includes rehabilitating pipes with trenchless, cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) structural liner or with open cut at specified point repair locations for remove and replacement. Bidders are required to undertake specified affirmative efforts as outlined in the specifications at least sixteen (16) days prior to bid opening. Compliance with several acts and regulations, including the Davis-Bacon Act, Employment of Illinois Workers on Public Works Act, Illinois Works Jobs Program Act, and the federal Build America, Buy America Act, is required.
