Description

Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in Scranton, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.

Sealed proposals are requested for the Old Mill Bridge Replacement Project in Jefferson Township. Bids must be submitted using the forms provided. Only registered bidders will be eligible to receive addenda. The project is a Public Works Project and is subject to the Pennsylvania Human Relations Act and the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act. Each bid must include a certified/cashier's check or Bid Bond amounting to ten percent of the bid total, payable to Lackawanna County. The County may reject any or all bids, or any portion thereof, or waive any informalities in the bidding. If a bid is accepted, the bidder agrees to execute and deliver the agreement in the prescribed form. Bids should be submitted in a sealed envelope, containing the bid, bid bond, and all required forms, addressed to the Lackawanna County Controller's Office and marked accordingly for the Old Mill Bridge Replacement Project.
