Site work and paving for a road / highway in Broadview Heights, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
The work includes furnishing all labor, equipment, and the noted material for roadway improvements including pavement planing, partial depth pavement repairs, excavation, full depth pavement replacement, aggregate base installation, roadway removal, curb installation, asphalt resurfacing, drive apron installation, and pavement markings including all appurtenances. All bidders and subcontractors must be ODOT prequalified in the required categories for the work. Each bid must contain the full names of the parties making the bid, an affidavit as to interested parties, and for corporations not chartered in Ohio, a proper certificate for doing business in Ohio. The bid must be accompanied by a Bid Guaranty Bond for the full amount (100%) of the bid or a certified check, cashier's check, or letter of credit in the amount of 10% of the bid, payable to the City of Broadview Heights. The bid guaranty is for the benefit of the City if the bidder fails to execute the contract and furnish bond and insurance certificates within ten days after notification of award. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive informalities, and to accept any bid deemed most favorable. The City is an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate against the handicapped.
