Architectural and engineering services to support planning, evaluation, design, and engineering for maintenance, modification, and improvement of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems across a large federal research and development campus. Services will be provided under a multiple-award indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract and may include, but are not limited to, replacement of potable water lines, major electrical equipment replacement, short circuit and electrical relaying studies, fire alarm panel and audio/visual device replacement, laboratory and office renovations, air handling unit replacement, elevator modernization, replacement of building steam stations and associated components, restroom renovations, upgrades to building-wide hydronic cooling systems, redesign of mechanical spaces to support replacement of failing HVAC units, installation of building-wide metering systems, and related construction management support. Work will be issued through competitively awarded firm-fixed-price task orders and is not design-build in nature.
