Demolition, site work and paving for a bridge / tunnel in Tunkhannock, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel.
You must attend the mandatory Pre-Bid meeting in order to submit a bid on the project. Question Deadline 02/26/2026 No oral interpretation will be made to any Bidder as to the meaning of the Contract Documents or any part thereof. Every request for such an interpretation shall be made in writing to the Owner. Any inquiry received seven (7) or more days prior to the date fixed for the opening of Bids will be given consideration. Sealed bids are invited for the Dark Hollow Road over Tributary 29240 to Taques Creek Culvert Replacement project. The work includes replacing a concrete bridge with an 18' 7" x 54' Aluminum Box Culvert with footings. All bids must be submitted on the forms provided, accompanied by a Certified Check, Cashiers Check, or Bid Bond in the amount of 10% of the total bid. Bidders must be Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) prequalified as a Prime Contractor in Category S4 (Bridge Culverts, Pedestrian Bridges, and Timber Bridges). The successful bidder must provide a Performance Bond and Payment Bond, each for the full amount of the bid. This project is subject to the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act.
