Site work for a water / sewer project in Phoenix, Arizona. Conceptual plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The City of Phoenix is requesting qualifications for engineering services to conduct a local limits study for the 91st Avenue and 23rd Avenue Wastewater Treatment Plants. The 91st Avenue Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) is owned by the Subregional Operating Group (SROG), which includes the cities of Glendale, Mesa, Phoenix, Scottsdale, and Tempe. The City of Phoenix is the permitted operator under the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) Permit. The 23rd Avenue WWTP is owned and operated by the City of Phoenix under the Arizona Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (AZPDES) Permit. The 23rd Avenue sewer shed will be included in this local limits study because flows from the 23rd Avenue WWTP can be fully diverted to a regional interceptor that ultimately terminates at the 91st Avenue WWTP.
