Stamped engineered drawings have been provided by Bighorn Consulting and have been submitted to the Division of Fire Protection and Controls for code review. All such addenda issued by CMC prior to the time that proposals are received shall be considered part of the RFP. SCOPE OF PROJECT Colorado Mountain College's Vail Edwards Campus located at 150 Miller Ranch Road, Edwards, CO is requesting quotes from qualified firms and/or individuals to furnish all equipment, materials, supplies, labor, and hardware to remove the existing boiler systems and install two (2) new boiler system per Bighorn Consulting Engineers Design. Stamped engineered drawings have been provided by Bighorn Consulting and have been submitted to the Division of Fire Protection and Controls for code review. SPECIFICATIONS I. SERVICE TO BE PROVIDED: a. Pre-Demo. Add Fernox F3 cleaner (estimated system volume 600 gallons) to the existing system and circulate for 7 days. Customers command all fan coil zone valves open during cleaning the system. The fluid will be removed/drained from thesystem per area code (recovered or down a floor drain). b. Power down the existing boilers, system pump(s) and lockout and tagout the equipment. c. Isolate the domestic hot water system from the incoming water source. d. Drain the water from the hot water systems to an appropriate floor drain. e. The contractor will demo equipment per Bighorn Consulting Engineers Construction Documents. f. The contractor will install the new equipment per the manufacture IO manual and Bighorn Consulting Engineers Construction Documents. g. The Contractor will fill the building loop with new glycol/ deionized water mixture (30% glycol). h. Provide factory start-up and verify the BACnet communication to the new boilers by the manufacturer's representative and First Year Warranty. A copy of the start-up equipment report will be sent to both the CMC operational manager and the Edwards facility managers. i. A crane may or may not be required in order to install new flues down existing ventilation to roofs at Edwards. Contractor to verify at time of walk through. j. Coordinate all controls - related work, including low voltage wiring for the new boiler system, and verify proper equipment sequencing in collaboration with CMC and Automated Logic West. Ensure all control points, interlocks, and sequences of operation are fully integrated and tested.
