As of February 23, 2026, bids received were rejected due to the lack of grant funding. Project will rebid but no definite date yet. This is a cash project: The work for which bids are to be received generally and briefly consists of the following: The scope of work includes Mold Remediation and Cleaning. The proposal from the Contrac tor shall consist ofthe submis sion of the completed Contract Documents and supple men tal addenda as received from the Owner. The bid shall be made on the BID PROPOSAL,BID SCHED ULE, BID CONDI TIONS, AND BIDFORM provided as part of these Bidding Docu mentsand shall be accompanied by a bid guar an tee in theform of a Certi fied or Cashier's check from a respon sible solvent bank or Bid Bond made payable to the Cityof Batavia in the amount of five percent (5%) of theyear one bid amount. The amount of the bid guar n teeshall be forfeited to the Owner if the Bidder neglectsor refuses to enter into a Contract or to furnish performance secu rity after the bid has been accepted. The Contractor shall provide references and examples of their completion of similar projects within thepast 5 years The Owner intends to accept the lowest respon si blebid and the Owner reserves the right to reject any andall bids, offers, or propos als submit ted, or to adver tisefor new bids. The Owner reserves the right to deferthe accep tance of any bid and the award of a Contractfor a period not exceed ing sixty (60) days after thedate of opening the bids. The success ful Bidder to whom the Contract shall beawarded shall sign the Contract, furnish a Performance Bond, or Letter of Credit in amounts equal toone hundred ten percent (110%) of the annual ContractAmount and required Certifi cates of Insur ance, withinfifteen (15) calen dar days after the Contract has beenawarded.
