Bridge City High School - New Performing Arts Center The Performing Arts Center encompasses work across multiple CSI Divisions. Trade packages generally include the following combined scope categories: Site preparation, demolition, earthwork, utilities, excavation support, drainage systems, paving, fencing, landscaping, and exterior site furnishings. Concrete construction, including drilled piers, foundations, slabs on grade, reinforcing steel, formwork, cast-in-place concrete, finishing, and specialty concrete treatments. Structural systems include masonry, structural steel, joists, metal deck, cold-formed framing, metal fabrications, stairs, railings, and expansion joint assemblies. Building envelope and architectural systems, including rough carpentry, finish carpentry, insulation, waterproofing, air barriers, roofing systems, fire-resistive materials, exterior panels, soffits, flashing, doors, frames, hardware, glazing, storefront systems, and specialty acoustic door assemblies. Interior construction and finishes, including gypsum wallboard systems, acoustic ceilings, suspended wood ceilings, wood athletic and dance flooring, resilient flooring, carpet, tile, coatings, painting, and specialty wall assemblies. Specialties, theatrical, and performance equipment, including signage, toilet accessories, partitions, lockers, theatrical rigging systems, stage curtains, orchestra shell components, projection systems, theatrical lighting infrastructure, audiovisual systems, auditorium seating, casework, and window treatments. Mechanical, plumbing, and fire protection systems, including piping, pumps, fixtures, insulation, testing and balancing, commissioning coordination, and associated accessories required for a complete operating system. Electrical, communications, technology, and life safety systems, including power distribution, lighting, theatrical lighting, building management controls, structured cabling, audiovisual integration, security systems, and fire alarm systems. Division 01 general requirements, including temporary facilities, coordination, submittals, project documentation, closeout procedures, warranties, and quality control obligations necessary to deliver a complete and operational facility. The project will be constructed on an active school campus. Work activities must be planned to minimize disruption to district operations and maintain safe separation from students, staff, and visitors. Access routes, deliveries, staging areas, and working hours may be restricted or phased to support campus operations The anticipated construction start date is March 16, 2026. Substantial completion and final completion of all work is required no later than July 17, 2027. Trade partners shall plan procurement, manpower, and sequencing activities to support this overall project duration. The project consists of constructing a new approximately 52,930-square-foot Performing Arts Center facility designed to support theatrical performances, music, dance, and multipurpose assemblies for Bridge City ISD.
