Site work for a water / sewer project in Bridge City, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The scope of work is generally described as the construction of a new water supply well with a capacity of approximately 600 gpm including the vertical lineshaft turbine pump and motor, all piping for casing, column piping, blank liner, screens, and the restoration of the project site and appurtenances associated with the well construction. Items required for a complete bid can be found in the Instructions to Bidders Section 5.c. A bid bond in the amount of 5 percent of the bid issued by an acceptable surety shall be submitted with each bid [for those contracts that exceed $100,000]. A certified check or bank draft payable to the City of Bridge City or negotiable U.S. Government Bonds (as par value) may be submitted in lieu of the Bid Bond. This project may be partially funded by the American Rescue Plan. The City of Bridge City reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding. All qualifications are to be submitted for review by Friday, March 4, 2022, 5 p.m. Central Standard Time via email with a confirmation of receipt or hard copies. a.
