Site work and paving for a road / highway in River Falls, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Mill and Overlay a portion of Paulson Road from 500 ft south of Highland Dr to Prairie Dr. Adjust 2 castings, and re-stripe road with epoxy. Scope of work - a. Milling of asphalt pavements and overlaying with hot mix asphalt of various streets throughout the City of River Falls as shown in Appendix E. b. All streets will receive a 1 3/4 " mill and overlay. c. Under the base bid, millings shall become property of the Owner and be hauled from the project area to a City owned parcel adjacent to the City's Wastewater Treatment Facility as the "Deliver Asphalt Millings to City" bid item. Conditions of "Earthwork (A)(2)" in Appendix A apply. d. Patching deteriorated portions of streets to be overlaid and other miscellaneous streets or pathways within the City as directed by Engineer. This patching shall consist of: 1) Saw cutting the edges of marked removal area. 2) Removing existing asphalt pavement. 3) Tacking edges of patch. 4) Replacing removed asphalt surface with new bituminous asphalt. 5) Tack coat. 6) Adjustment of miscellaneous manhole and gate valve castings when so ordered by engineer. 7) Placement of a 1 3/4 " asphalt pavement wear course over existing road surface on mill and overlay streets. 8) Traffic control.
