Renovation of an educational facility in River Falls, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
In general, the work consists of renovating an existing student housing room into a single user ADA shower and toilet room on the first floor of Johnson Hall. A 42 inch door and frame will replace the existing door and frame. An existing window will be removed and infilled. New plumbing and electrical fixtures will be provided with new toilet room accessories. HVAC will be modified. All potential bidders must be certified by DOA prior to submitting bids on state construction projects with budgets over $100,000. Bids from non-certified contractors will be rejected. Bid opening will be conducted via Microsoft Teams and bidders may call in or join online to hear the results announced at the designated time. Construction bidding documents are available as downloadable electronic files from the Division's website. Additional instructions include that contract offer and construction phase records will be processed electronically via eBuilder. A non-mandatory pre-bid tour is scheduled, and contractors are encouraged to attend.
