Renovation of an educational facility in Matteson, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Sealed bids will be received for the 2026 Renovations at Marya Yates Elementary School. The Project consists of the construction of renovations to an existing school, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, SAT ceilings and interior walls. Lump sum bid proposals are required. Bid security in the form of a bid bond, certified check, or cash equal to 10 percent of the base bid amount must be submitted with the bid. Bids shall be submitted in an opaque sealed envelope addressed to the Chief School Business Official. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids or parts thereof, or waive any irregularities or informalities, to make the award in the District's best interest. All bidders must comply with Illinois laws regarding prevailing wages, labor standards, and Equal Employment Opportunity. Bidding documents can be obtained upon deposit or via a non-refundable digital fee from Gill Reprographics, Inc. The Architect for the project is TRIA Architecture, Inc. Anticipated Award of Contract date: March 11, 2026 Anticipated Start of Construction: June 9, 2026 Anticipated Substantial Completion date: July 31, 2026 The date of Final Completion shall be no later than August 28, 2026, 5:00 p.m Question Deadline 02/20/2026 Submit all questions regarding the Bidding Documents to the Architect . Questions received less than five days before the bid opening date cannot be answered.
