Sealed bids are requested for the construction of a bridge rehabilitation project and associated street work in Fremont, Nebraska, along with other incidental work. The project includes all labor, materials, transportation, and equipment needed for the rehabilitation of the viaduct at Sta. 145+96.81 and the rehabilitation, repair, or replacement of adjacent roadway and sidewalks. Bidders are instructed to submit their sealed bids to the Fremont City Clerk, clearly marked for the North Broad Street Viaduct Rehabilitation Project, Project No. BR-12-25 - Structure No. U095011601. Proposals must be signed and submitted on the provided forms, and only Division 5 should be submitted. Each proposal must include a Bid Bond or Certified Check payable to the City of Fremont, Nebraska, in an amount equal to five percent of the proposal. Bidders must also include an estimated time of beginning and completion for the project. The contractor will have 270 calendar days to complete the work. Construction cannot begin until all necessary permits, including railroad permits, are obtained. The City of Fremont reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any irregularities.
