Site work and paving for a road / highway in Fremont, Nebraska. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
Sealed bids are requested for all tools, labor, and materials necessary to complete work required for the 19th Street asphalt overlay, which includes 650 tons of asphalt, milling and overlaying 19th Street from Nye Avenue to Somers Avenue, as well as associated work such as removal and replacement of marked pavement failure, curb ramp work, rebuilding manholes and inlets, adjusting valves, and implementing erosion control. All work must conform to the City of Fremont's Standard Specifications for Public Works Construction, latest edition. Contractors must obtain Plans, Specifications, and Contract Documents from the City Engineer's office. A non-refundable charge for hard copy sets applies, while digital copies are free via email request. Once started, work on the project must continue onsite until completion. All work must be completed by September 1, 2026, or liquidated damages of $500 per calendar day will be assessed after that date. 650 Tons of Asphalt. The work is generally described as asphalt, mill and overlay on 19th Street from Nye Avenue to Somers Avenue. AND other associated work as removal and replacement of marked pavement failure, including curb ramps, rebuild manholes and inlets, adjust valves, and implementing erosion control.
