Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Auburn, Washington. Completed plans call for the construction of a theater / auditorium; and playground / park / athletic field.
The major items of work include constructing a replaced Auburn Avenue Theater and a new downtown park adjacent to the theater. The proposed bid range for the project is from $10,500,000 to $12,000,000. The Contract Work shall be substantially complete no later than May 28, 2027. All bid proposals shall be accompanied by a bid deposit in cash, certified check, cashier's check, or proposal bond (surety bond) in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of such bid proposal. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into such Contract and furnish satisfactory Contract Bond within the time stated in the Bid Documents, the bid deposit shall be forfeited to the City of Auburn. Disadvantaged, Minority, and Women's Business Enterprises are encouraged to respond. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive technicalities or irregularities, and to accept any bid if such action is believed to be for the best interest of the City of Auburn.
