The full project scope is defined in the Contract Documents. Bids are to be submitted for a lump sum price covering the entire project, all trades included. Bidders must be pre-qualified by the New Jersey Department of Treasury, Division of Property Management and Construction (DPMC) in the following categories: (C068) Roofing - Membrane Modified Bitumen or (C070) Roofing - Built Up. Documentation for prequalified subcontractors must also be provided for Plumbing (C030), HVACR (C032), and Electrical (C047). No modifications to the Instructions to Bidders, General Conditions, Supplemental Conditions, or Specifications will be allowed prior to bid acceptance except by addenda. Modifications in bids will result in rejection as non-responsive. Bidders must comply with all relevant state and federal requirements, submit specified affidavits, statement of ownership, possess proper registrations and certifications, and provide bid security in the proper amount and form.The scope of work includes the removal of the existing roofing system down to the deck and the replacement with a new roofing system.
