Site work for a water / sewer project in West Chester, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The project involves the replacement of storm sewer pipe and infrastructure of various sizes and materials, storm sewer inlet repair and replacement, asphalt repairs to roads and driveways, concrete curb repair, and yard restoration. All work must be substantially complete by August 21, 2026. This project is subject to prevailing wage rates in accordance with Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry. Question Deadline 02/20/2026 at 5:00 PM ET If any prospective bidder on the proposed contract is in doubt as to the true meaning of any part of the plans, specifications or other proposed contract documents, he may submit to the Engineer, electronically Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond payable to the Owner in an amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the bid or bids. Only bonds from companies licensed to do business in the State where the Owner is located will be accepted and the bond shall so state same. The successful bidder shall furnish a performance bond and a separate labor and materials bond both in the amount of 100% of the contract. Bids must be submitted unconditionally. No bidder may withdraw bid within sixty (60) days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities, or to reject any or all bids.
