Site work for a water / sewer project in Calistoga, California. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The work consists of abandoning existing water mains and services; installing a 12" water main with all new service lines, meters, and boxes; installing a 12" recycled water main; trench paving; removal and replacement of sidewalk; traffic striping; traffic control; water pollution control; and related items of work as shown on the plans, specified in the Standard Specifications and special provisions, and as directed by the Engineer. Bidders must furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and perform all necessary and incidental work for the project. Bids must include a bid security of not less than ten percent (10%) of the aggregate amount of the base bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish 100% payment and faithful performance bonds. All contractors and subcontractors must be registered with the Department of Industrial Relations. The Contractor must possess a valid Class A (General Engineering) Contractor License at the time of contract award. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities or minor irregularities in the bids. The Engineer's Estimate is $990,000.
