Project Description: The Slate Run Road - Phase II project consists of the improvements commencing at the south end of Phase I, which is approximately 500' south of the intersection of Laib Drive and proceeding in a southerly direction to the north side of its intersection with Ekin Avenue, a total distance of approximately 4,425 feet. The purpose of this project is to widen the existing road to provide a bike lane and concrete sidewalk on both sides of the road due to the amount of pedestrian and bike traffic utilizing the road. Concrete curb and gutter will also be provided along both sides of the enhanced street to provide safety for the pedestrian traffic. Utility relocations will be required to accommodate the widened road section. Existing storm sewer systems will be upgraded. Modular block retaining walls will be installed where necessary to minimize the impact to adjacent properties. Contact for Questions: Larry M.
