Site work and paving for a civil project in Tomah, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; and road / highway.
The project consists of street reconstruction and utility replacements on Hollister Avenue, Schaller Street, and West Elizabeth Street. The contract includes the following work units: installation of 2,600 lineal feet of 8-inch sanitary sewer, 3,750 lineal feet of 8-inch and 12-inch water main, 2,000 lineal feet of 12-inch to 18-inch storm sewer, 7,000 lineal feet of 24-inch concrete curb and gutter, 54,000 square feet of concrete flatwork, and 16,500 square yards of street reconstruction. Quantities and sizes are subject to change prior to document distribution. Bidders are required to be pre-qualified with the City of Tomah within the last year or at least 5 days prior to the bid deadline. Each bidder must submit a bid security equal to 5% of the maximum bid amount and must have experience in municipal pipeline construction. The City of Tomah reserves the right to reject any and all bids and waive informalities in any bid. Question Deadline 02/20/2026 Bidder shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents to Engineer in writing. Questions received less than five days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered.
