The project is expected to be awarded on May 15, 2026.** Center For Active Living Renovation The project is the remodeling of the Center for Active Living and includes a small addition, new dormers, and renovation of the interior and exterior of the existing building. The existing building is 8,195 square feet, and with the addition, the total will be 10,704 square feet. The work requires General Contractors certified by the Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance in General Building Construction. Filed sub-bids are required for: Roofing and Flashing, Tiling, Acoustical Ceilings, Resilient Floors, Painting, Fire Protection, Plumbing, HVAC, and Electrical. Bidders must submit a current Certificate of Eligibility and Update Statement from DCAMM. Each general and filed sub-bid must be accompanied by a bid deposit of not less than five percent of the bid amount, payable to the Town of Southbridge, in the form of a certified, treasurer's, or cashier's check, or bid bond from a qualified surety company.
