Renovation of an educational facility in Edina, Minnesota. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Independent School District #273 will receive bids on Concord Elementary School 2026 Interior Renovations. Copies of the Bid Documents are available at American Reprographics Company, 4730 Park Glen Road, St. Louis Park, Minnesota. Both a deposit check in the amount of $70 and a non-refundable check in the amount of $30 made out to "Independent School District #273" for each set is required. A refund of $70 will be sent to set holders if sets are returned in good condition within ten calendar days to American Reprographics Company. Bids should be addressed to Mert Woodard, Director of Business Services, Edina Public Schools. The envelope must be clearly marked to indicate the contents. Late bids will be returned unopened. Proposals must be made on bid forms in the Project Manual, and a certified check or bidder's bond payable to the District in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total bid must be submitted. The successful bidder will be required to furnish satisfactory Labor and Material Payment Bond and Performance Bond. No bidder may withdraw their bid within thirty (30) days after the date of opening bids without the consent of the Board of Education. Independent School District #273 reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive informalities in bidding or advertisement, and select the bid which best meets the needs of the District pursuant to M.S. 471.6161, subd.3. The Project consists of the interior renovations of Concord Elementary School inlcuding flooring replacements, conference room renovations, and associated mechanical and electrical work. F. The Project consists of the renovation of renovation of existing interior finishes and reconfiguration of conference room. 1. Briefly and without force and effect upon the Contract Documents, the Work of this single prime Contract can be summarized as follows: 2. Work under this Contract includes: a. Interior Finishes: 1) Insulated gypsum board/metal stud partitions. 2) Floor finishes of LVT, walk off carpet, and epoxy terrazzo. 3) Wall finishes of paint. 4) Ceiling finishes of acoustical lay-in tile. 5) Plastic laminate casework, markerboards, tackboards, and miscellaneous specialties. b. Mechanical Systems: 1) Fire protection system modifications. 2) Heating including piping, piping insulation, heating terminal units. 3) Ventilation including ductwork, duct insulation, air terminal units, destratification fans. 4) Temperature control system. c. Electrical Systems: 1) Receptacles, power, conduit, wiring, and rough in as indicated on plans. 2) Electrical connections to new mechanical equipment. 3) Relocated interior lighting and controls. 4) Relocated fire alarm devices. 5) Low voltage work to include: Reinstall PA speaker devices, new data outlet. G. Keep Architect fully informed about progress of the work, performance of the work and potential problems
