NACOG has been awarded a federal HOME grant from the Arizona Department of Housing for housing rehabilitation projects. NACOG will accept bids from qualified firms registered with the Arizona Registrar of Contractors to make substantial repairs to two homes located in Show Low and Pinetop, AZ. The scope of work includes but is not limited to: electrical service and repair; smoke detectors; exterior door replacement; roofing replacement and rain gutter installation; ceiling, wall, and window repairs/replacement; deck, steps, railings, and handrail repair/replacement; home heating/cooling; manufactured home foundation and stem wall. Bids must be on a lump-sum basis for the entire scope of work for the home. Bids must be sealed, labeled NACOG Housing Rehab, and delivered to the specified address by the given deadline. Mailed bids must be received by the deadline. Faxes are not acceptable. Late bids will be returned unopened. Bids will be opened immediately following the submission deadline and total amounts will be read aloud. Minority, woman-owned, and disadvantaged businesses are encouraged to submit bids. NACOG may waive informalities in the bids, may negotiate with any and all bidders, and may reject all bids if it is deemed in the best interest of NACOG.
