As of April 13, 2026 the project has been awarded. The Housing Authority of the Cherokee Nation is seeking bids from certified mobile home dealers for the demolition and turnkey construction of one two-bedroom, two-bathroom mobile home located in Muskogee County. The existing home has tested positive for ACM, and attention must be paid to the areas noted in the attached report. Bidders are to provide bids to furnish all necessary labor, quality control, licenses, material, equipment, tools, supplies, permits, insurance, and supervision to complete the entire project. The project must be fully completed within 45 work days, or a penalty of $1,000.00 per working day will be charged for each day work continues beyond the contract end date. Contract extensions will only be allowed under extenuating circumstances. The lowest, most responsive/responsible bidder will be awarded the bid. The contract must be fully executed within ten days of award or the next lowest bid will be considered. Award is subject to fund availability. Work cannot begin until a Deed Restriction Agreement is signed by the family, and a Purchase Order is issued as Notice to Proceed. Bidders are responsible for all costs associated with bid preparation and submission. No bid may be withdrawn within 30 days after the closing date. HACN reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to determine if a bid meets requirements, awarding a contract in the best interest of the HACN.
