Renovation of a municipal facility in Concord, New Hampshire. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Provide all labor, materials, tools, transportation, equipment, and permits necessary for masonry and repointing services. Bidders are required to comply with all instructions provided, including submission requirements, specifications, and qualifications needed to complete the work as described. The State of New Hampshire Department of Administrative Services is seeking to establish a nonexclusive contract to provide Masonry Repair & Repointing Services to facilitate the timely repair of buildings located throughout New Hampshire as listed below under Site Location. 25.2. The successful Vendor shall provide all supervision, labor, materials, transportation, tools, equipment, construction equipment and machinery necessary to satisfactorily complete the Masonry Repair & Repointing Services as identified below. 25.3. The Masonry Repair & Repointing services shall include the following: 25.3.1. removal of deteriorated mortar and repointing with matching composition, color, and tooling profile. 25.3.2. brick, stone, and cast stone replacement or repair. 25.3.3. Granite and concrete stair repair and stabilization. 25.3.4. Cleaning and preparation of masonry surfaces. 25.3.5. Application of breathable sealants or water repellents as specified. 25.3.6. Historic preservation compliance per the New Hampshire Division of Historical Resources Standards when applicable. 25.4. The successful Vendor shall submit not to exceed quotes for individual projects at rates established in this contract. 25.5. For emergency projects requiring immediate attention, the successful Vendor shall work on a Time and Materials basis subject to review and approval by the State Project Manager. 25.6. All work performed under any resulting contract shall be scheduled by the State Project Manager from the Department of Administrative Services. 25.7. All materials and supplies shall be invoiced at a markup not to exceed 10% over contractor's cost. 25.8. Subcontractors work may be invoiced at a markup not to exceed 10% over contractor's cost. 25.9. For Masonry Repair & Repointing Services issued on a fixed price basis the following information is required on all invoices: 25.9.1. Description of the project; 25.9.2. Time frame indicated of when work was performed; 25.9.3. Copy of original quote submitted to State Project Manager 25.9.4. Pictures documenting the work. 25.10. For Masonry Repair & Repointing Services awarded on a Time and Material basis, the following additional information must be included on all invoices: 25.10.1.Description of the Work 25.10.2.Number of hours per person worked including copies of time sheets; 25.10.3.Copies of original receipts for all materials purchased or costs incurred as a result of the scope of work; 25.10.4.Pictures documenting the work.
