Sealed bids are requested for furnishing all labor and material necessary for the Bath Landfill Cell 6A and Leachate Storage Tank Construction under Contracts No. 1A (General Construction) and No. 1B (Electrical Construction). Each bid must include security in an amount not less than five percent of the bid amount. Bids must remain valid for sixty days following the opening. Bidders must obtain contract documents through the specified contact, and, if obtained elsewhere, must notify the contact to be placed on the Bidders list. This is an exempt capital improvement project, so bidders should exclude sales and compensating use taxes on materials to be incorporated into the work. Bids will not be accepted from entities deemed Non-Responsible by the New York State Office of General Services. All bidders and subcontractors must hold a valid Certificate of Registration from the New York State Department of Labor and submit this with their bid. Special attention is called to the required employment conditions and minimum wage rates to be observed. The right is reserved to waive informalities or reject any or all bids. Upon completion of the question period, the conference will proceed with a site walkover. Any questions requiring clarification will be addressed in an Addendum.
