The work consists of alterations to four existing classroom buildings and miscellaneous site work for accessibility upgrades and site improvements. Bids must be submitted as sealed envelopes with the subcontractor's list and other required attachments. Within 24 hours of the bid opening, the apparent low bidder must provide completed DIR information on the subcontractor list and submit Prime Bidder Good Faith Effort Worksheet and Prime Bidder Certification of Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise Participation forms. Bids will not be accepted from those who did not attend the mandatory pre-bid conference. Bids shall be on a lump sum basis. The work must be completed within 384 calendar days from the date of the Owner's Notice to Proceed. Bid security in the amount of 10% of the bid must be included in the form of certified check, bid bond, cashier's check, or cash. Only bidders with a valid Class B contractor license will be considered. The Owner may reject any or all bids.
