The Township of Montclair is soliciting bids for the Electrical Service Upgrade of Clary Anderson Arena. Project consists of the full replacement and upgrade to the electrical service at Clary Anderson Arena. 1. Base Bid: The extent of the replacement and upgrade is shown on construction drawings, and these specifications include, but are not limited to: The removal and replacement of the existing utility transformer, disconnects, meter and CT cabinets, and panels. See Electrical drawings for additional scope of work. 2. Base Bid: Temporary Panel: Removal of existing Temporary panel, and modification related to switching from temporary power to new main distribution panel. 3. Allowance: Temporary Panel: For Only the Monthly Cost associated with the GC maintaining the existing Temporary panel at the site. See 012000 - Allowance for additional information. The work contemplated under this contract shall be completed within 90 days after Notice to Proceed. Bids shall be made upon the prescribed forms, furnished with the Contract Drawings and Specifications, including the non-collusion affidavit and ownership statement compliance form, and must be accompanied by a Consent of Surety and a certified check, cashier's check, or Bid Bond of not less than ten (10%) percent of the amount bid, not to exceed $20,000.00. The successful bidder shall furnish and deliver to the Owner a performance and payment bond in the amount of 100 percent of the accepted bid amount as security for the faithful performance and payment of the Contract, as well as the policies or Certificates of Insurance required by the Contract. Bids must be accompanied by proper certification for corporations not chartered in New Jersey and must comply with all requirements including N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq., N.J.A.C. 17:27 regarding equal employment opportunity, the New Jersey Prevailing Wage Act, the Public Works Contractor Registration Act, and Chapter 33 of the P.L. of 1977. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive informalities or irregularities, and accept the bid from the lowest, responsive, and responsible bidder.
