Site work for a water / sewer project in Celina, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The project involves the replacement of an existing waterline along State Route 703 and related items, located within the jurisdictions of both the City of Celina and Mercer County. One bidder will be awarded the entire project, with separate contracts signed by each public entity for their respective portions of the project. Bids must be submitted on the provided bidding forms, sealed in the provided envelope, and accompanied by either a Bid Guaranty Bond of 100% of the bid amount or a certified check, cashiers check, or letter of credit in the amount of not less than 10% of the bid. The successful bidder is required to furnish a Performance Bond of 100% of the bid. Bidders are required to comply with State of Ohio prevailing wage rates, insurance requirements, and equal employment opportunity provisions. Only bids from bidders on the engineers official list of plan holders will be accepted. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities, irregularities, and errors in the bidding process. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing.Questions received less than 10 days prior to the date for opening of bids may not be answered.
