Bids received after the specified time will neither be considered nor accepted. The bid opening will be a public opening conducted at the MOISD Office conference room. Bids may also be dropped off at the GDK Construction Office or mailed to GDK Construction, but must be received by the deadlines. Faxed or emailed bids will not be accepted. Each bid must be accompanied by a sworn and notarized Familial Disclosure Statement and the Affidavit of Compliance - Iran Sanctions Act. A construction pre-bid meeting will be held onsite, and all bidders are encouraged to attend. Contractors are responsible for reviewing all drawings and specifications. Awarded contractors must complete the 06 MOISD Placement/Volunteer Form (Sections 1 and 3) and any requested documentation listed on the form. Contractors must notify GDK of their intent to bid or not bid. All RFIs must be submitted by the specified deadline. Bidders must be reputable, recognized organizations with at least five years successful experience on similar projects, licensed if required, and have ample financial resources. Each bid must include bid security or a bid bond or check in an amount not less than 5% of the bid amount. The successful bidder will be required to secure Performance, Labor and Material bonds for all contracts exceeding $50,000 from a surety company with a rating of A- or better, for the full contract amount. The project is not prevailing wage. All RFIs must be submitted by February 18, 2026 by 12:00 pm. Please submit to Dustin Hemmes at dhemmes@gdkconstruction.com.
