The work can be generally described as the removal of old asphalt tennis courts and the construction of an access road and expanded parking lot to service the existing playgrounds and connect to previous projects. Approximate values include: 1300 LF Concrete Curb and Gutter; 1200 TON Asphalt Paving; 400 SY Asphalt Trail; 970 SY Thickened Edge Concrete; 500 SF Concrete Sidewalk; 580 LF of 4”–12” Storm Sewer; 8400 SY Topsoil, Strip, Stockpile; 3000 TONS Dense Base Aggregate. Bids will be received for a single prime contract and on a unit price basis. All proposals shall be submitted on a form provided for the purpose. Bid Security is required and shall be provided in accordance with Instruction to Bidders - Section 6 - Bid Guarantee. Bidding documents shall be available digitally. All work under this contract shall be in accordance with the State of Wisconsin Department of Transportation Standard Specifications for Highway and Structure Construction, Current Edition, Sewer and Water Construction Standards for Wisconsin, Current Edition and this project’s Special Conditions. The Village Board reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids, to waive any informalities in bidding and to award a contract to the bidder, who will best serve the interests of the Village. Pre-qualification requirements: Pre-qualification of bidders is required. Bidder’s prequalification forms will be issued with the bid documents. Forms shall be received via email only by the stated deadline. No bids will be accepted from any bidder who has not submitted a State of Bidder’s Qualifications. The Owner reserves the right to reject the bid of any bidder who has been determined to be unqualified.
