Site work for a transportation facility in Norwalk, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a transportation facility.

Separate sealed bids are requested for the “Runway 10-28 Obstruction Removal Phase II” project at the Huron County Airport. Bidders must obtain and pay for a complete bid package from Richland Engineering to be considered an official bidder and must be a plan holder of record. Bids must include security as specified and a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in accordance with Ohio law. Each proposal must state the full names of the parties and include evidence of experience on projects of similar size and complexity. The project must be completed within 90 days from Notice to Proceed. Contractors and subcontractors are required to use Ohio products, materials, services, and labor when practical, and must comply with state equal employment opportunity requirements. Bidders must also comply with prevailing wage rates as determined by the U.S. Department of Labor. The commissioners reserve the right to reject any or all bids and to determine the lowest and best bidder. Bidders are advised to visit the project site prior to bidding. Minority and women-owned businesses are encouraged to participate.
