Description

Site work for a water / sewer project in Kirkland, Quebec. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

The work to be carried out consists of structural lining of water mains, replacement of stop valves, fire hydrants, residential stop boxes, backfilling and paving of excavation pits, as well as all related work described in the specifications. Water main work: Structural lining of water mains: 1,600 linear metres. Replacement of stop valves: 11 units. Replacement of fire hydrants: 9 units. Deadline for receipt of complaints 2026-02-26 Work must commence no later than 1 June 2026 and must continue without interruption until completion. The contractor must complete all work under this contract within a maximum of seventy (70) calendar days from the start date of the work. Required guarantees: . A bid bond equal to ten per cent (10%) of the total amount (including taxes) of the bid is required for this call for tenders; . A performance bond and a bond for the payment of labour, materials and services, each in the amount of fifty per cent (50%) of the total amount (including taxes) of the bid in favour of the City of Kirkland, valid for the entire initial term of the contract.
