Renovation of a military facility in Fort Defiance, Arizona. Completed plans call for the renovation of a military facility.

Questions Due to NTUA February 20, 2026 by 5:00 p.m. (DST) Inquiries: If there are any questions, proposers Avis Jimm, Contract Administrator, at (928) 729-6243 or via email avisj@ntua.com. NTUA will only respond to questions related to this RFP prior to the date indicated above. All emails should have "Generator Replacement for Crownpoint District Office - QUESTIONS" in the subject line. All questions and answers will be published for all interested parties so do not include confidential information when submitting questions. To provide a generator back-up system will provide temporary power to the buildings' essential circuits during a power outage. The location of the building is provided below. o Crownpoint NTUA District building o Crownpoint, New Mexico o 35.695698, -108.143900 The selected proposer will coordinate with NTUA Facilities Maintenance Department and the Crownpoint District personnel on the work scheduling. The work requirements for this project will be a weekdays or weekends; scheduling will be critical, and work shall not interrupt normal business activities. Assessment - Generator and ATS sizing o Site visit to verify existing equipment and conditions. o Determine generator size and ATS requirements. Determine generator load based off emergency electrical panel. o Fuel shall be natural gas. o Verify fuel delivery pressure off utility regulator/meter. o New system shall be a Cummins natural gas generator with matching ATS. Fuel adjustment shall conform to high altitude requirements. o Current generator information: 120/208 Volt, Three Phase, Four Wire, 50kW Natural Gas Engine - Generator. Demolition/removal - existing equipment o Disconnect and remove existing equipment. o Remove generator from existing pad. o Disconnect and remove ATS from electrical room. o Place old unit on shipping crate for transport, loading, and off-loading. o Load and Transport old unit back to the Ft Defiance Headquarters Vehicle shop. o Unload old generator in designated area. o Prepare for new equipment. o Prepare pad, conduit, electrical cable for new generator and ATS. o Inspect and prepare natural gas line for new generator. o Prepare and install any additional cabling and/or communication cable for new generator back-up system.
