The Gary Sanitary District is requesting quotes for the replacement of RTU units on the Administration building. The existing system is a 12-zone system, approximately 30 years old, and manufactured by Carrier. A 12-18 week turnaround time is desired for installation. Question Submission Deadline:February 24, 2026, 10:00am all the necessary equipment, labor, and materials for the replacement of the Carrier Multizone RTU and zone control system. Installation to include: o Disconnect and remove the existing Carrier 30-ton multizone RTU. o Provide and install a new Carrier model 48K3HF30-1-6AODOA0 with multi- stage heating with stainless steel heat exchanger, 460-volt 3 phase, with SystemVu Controls with BACnet Capabilities. Hinged door, Ultra low leak economizer with Low static power exhaust-multi stage control, with Factory start-up. Refrigerant is R454B o Provide and install a custom roof top curb adaptor with all necessary zone dampers built-in. o Provide and install a new Pelican web based 10-zone control system. o Provide and install a Pelican wireless zone controller o Provide and install 10 Pelican Wireless Touchscreen thermostats o Provide and install 10 BELIMO 24-volt floating actuators on the zone dampers. o Provide and install 10 alarm sensors. o Provide and install a BELIMO outdoor air sensor. o Provide and install a Pelican extended range wireless gateway, and repeater. o Provide and install 10 supply duct temperature sensors. o Provide and install 3 transformers, 24v, 100 VA. o Provide and install a condensate trap and piping. o Provide and install a new RTU mounted Service Disconnect switch with fuses. o Include all necessary low voltage wiring. o Provide a 70-ton crane to hoist the equipment to the roof. o All necessary reclaiming of R-22 freon out of existing RTU. o Hauled away existing equipment and recycled. o All necessary labor for a complete and professional job. o Complete start up and test.
