Defence Construction Canada is inviting contractors to apply to be placed on a Quick Response Tender (QRT) source list for work required by the Department of National Defence at 14 Wing Greenwood, NS. The source lists will be in place until March 31, 2029. Applications are being accepted for Commercial General Contracting, Residential General Contracting, and Mechanical Contracting services, with projects estimated up to $500,000. Contractors must submit a separate Source List Application Form via email for each service category they wish to apply for. Application forms sent by fax or mail will not be accepted. Contractors may request to join the source list at any time, subject to the source list terms and conditions. The selected language for the QRT Source List will be the only language used for all future tenders, contract documents, and communications related to the execution of any resulting contract. This procurement follows the tendering procedures in Chapter 5 of the Canadian Free Trade Agreement. Contracts will include measurable performance standards and requirements. Contractors receiving an unacceptable evaluation may be removed from the source list and not invited to future opportunities. Typically, a security clearance is not required to be added to a source list, but tenders and contracts may contain organization and personnel security requirements such as Designated Organization Screening (DOS) and reliability status for personnel, or more stringent requirements like Facility Security Clearance (FSC) at the level of SECRET with approved Document Safeguarding (DSC) with secret clearance for personnel.
