Gaston College - CET Boiler Replacement Qualified bidders may submit bids for the Gaston College - CET Boiler Replacement project. The project includes the replacement of existing mechanical equipment using ARPA funding, as well as associated electrical and ductwork. Bids will be received for a general contract encompassing all trades. Bidders must submit sealed lump sum bids in compliance with the provided Instructions to Bidders. All prospective prime bidders are required to attend a mandatory prebid meeting. Each proposal must be accompanied by a bid security of not less than five percent (5%) of the proposal amount, in the form of a cash deposit, cashier’s check, certified check, or bid bond executed by a corporate surety licensed in North Carolina, conditioned upon the execution of the contract in accordance with the bid if selected.
