Sealed bids are solicited for traffic markings. All bids must include a bid deposit amounting to 5% of the total bid, payable by certified check or bid bond to the Town of Chelmsford. Bids should be submitted to the DPW Facility at 9 Alpha Road, Chelmsford, MA. The Town reserves the right to waive any informality or reject any or all bids if deemed in the best interest of the Town. There will not be a site visit for this Invitation to Bid. Bidders are encouraged to visit the locations listed in the bid ahead of preparing his/her bid. Question Deadline 02/26/2026 Location and Work to be Done The Location of the Work to be done is described in the project description. The Contractor will furnish all labor, services, materials, equipment, plant, machinery, apparatus, appliances, tools, supplies, and all other things necessary to do all work required for the completion of each item of the Work and as herein specified. The Work to be done and paid for under any item will not be limited to the exact extent mentioned or described but will include all incidental work necessary or customarily done for the completion of that item. The Town of Chelmsford DPW – Engineering Division is requesting bids from qualified Contractors. The work under this contract will include all equipment, labor, material, supplies, etc. necessary to furnish the work described in this contract. This contract is for the application of Thermoplastic and Paint Traffic Markings on various streets in the Town of Chelmsford. Thermoplastic and Paint Traffic Markings in this contract shall include various amounts of double yellow lines, centerlines, edge lines, stop lines, crosswalks, directional arrows, and other pavement markings. The awarding company will have the responsibility of thermoplastic markings according to the specifications of this contract.
