Description

Renovation of an educational facility in Priest River, Idaho. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

The successful firm will provide a comprehensive assessment of the conditions of building components. This includes a priority assessment of mechanical systems (electrical, plumbing, boiler, lighting), safety/building code components (exits, fire alarm, emergency lighting, fire control, handicap accessibility, suitability of space), possible future assessments of exterior building components (foundation/structure, exterior walls, roof, windows, doors, trim, sidewalks), and interior building condition components (floors, walls, ceiling, doors and hardware). Bidders are to provide a professional resume description of their experience in older/historical building projects, detail their skills, experience, and expertise in assessing building components and communicating results, and describe the proposed roles and responsibilities of key architectural and consultant personnel for the project. The District reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, select all or part of any proposal, negotiate changes to scope, and conduct investigations to determine performance records and ability to perform. The District also reserves the right to cancel the contract with at least five days' written notice.
