The Project will be phased according to the construction schedule included herein. Furnish all labor, supervision, materials, tools, equipment, and services required for the above-listed specification sections covering related work as per project plans and specifications and as described below. The Project consists of: MPR renovations and roofing work in MPR Buildings at Thornton Middle School. MPR renovations and roofing work in MPR Buildings at Thornton Middle School. To bid on this project, bidders must possess the appropriate State of California contractor's license(s): Bid Package A requires a C-39 Roofing license, Bid Package B requires a C-33 Painting license, Bid Package C requires a C-15 Flooring license, and Bid Package D requires a C-10 Electrical license. Bidders must be registered as a public works contractor with the Department of Industrial Relations. Only pre-qualified bidders may submit a bid. All bids must be submitted on the form provided by the district and must include a bid bond, cashier's check, or certified check in the amount of ten percent of the total bid price. Attendance at the mandatory pre-bid conference is required. The successful bidder must furnish a 100% Performance Bond and a 100% Payment Bond. The successful bidder will be required to meet the DVBE participation goal or show good faith effort, pay prevailing wages, comply with labor compliance monitoring, and agree to the Project Stabilization Agreement. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive responsible bidder based on the base bid amount only. The Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids and waive any irregularity in any bid received. No bidder may withdraw its bid for ninety days after the bid opening date.
