**As of March 18, 2026, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** Sealed bids are invited for the 2026 Washington Road Improvement Project. Bid packets, including detailed plans, specifications, and contract documents, can be obtained or examined at the office of the Public Works Director for a fee. Bidders must comply with all requirements in the bid packet, particularly Wage Rates, insurance, equal opportunity provisions, and provide a payment bond and performance bond each for 100% of the contract price. Bidders are reminded that, according to Ohio revised Code Section 153.12, no contract may be awarded if the bid price exceeds 10% above the Engineer's estimate. The City of Norwalk reserves the right to waive informalities or reject any or all bids and may award a contract to the lowest and best bidder. Successful bidders must be Equal Employment Opportunity Employers. Question Deadline 02/27/2026 All questions should be submitted in writing at least five (5) business days prior to the bid opening.
