Replace and relocate the backflow preventer in Building 1 includes providing all labor, equipment, materials, and supervision necessary to perform the required plumbing work in accordance with the salient characteristics attached to the notice. The effort supports market research to determine whether sufficient certified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses or Veteran-Owned Small Businesses are available and capable of performing the work to justify a set-aside and ensure fair and reasonable pricing in accordance with the VA Rule of Two. Firms must be certified in the SBA Veteran Small Business Certification database and able to perform the work under NAICS 238220, Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning Contractors. Location: Fort Wayne VA Medical Center, 2121 Lake Avenue, Fort Wayne, IN 46805. The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this Time.
