The project includes constructing a new concrete pad to support four chemical storage tanks, setting the new tanks in place, and installing all associated piping, valves, insulation, and heat tracing. Work also includes a new chemical fill station, emergency eyewash station with water heater, and FRP access structures. Bids will only be accepted from entities not in arrears or default with the City of Fort Wayne and who have satisfactorily completed prior contracts. Bidding information is downloadable only from specified online portals for a fee. Electronic submission via QuestCDN is required. Bids cannot be withdrawn for at least 60 days after the submission deadline. The successful bidder must provide Labor and Material Payment Bond and Performance Bond, each for 100% of the contract price. The Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to waive defects in any bid. No Bid may be withdrawn for at least 60 days after the scheduled time for receipt of Bids so as to allow review of Bids before announcing award of Contract. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a satisfactory Labor and Material Payment Bond and Performance Bond each in the amount no less than one hundred (100%) percent of the contract price. The Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids for failure to comply with applicable laws and/or with the Instructions to Bidders. The Board also reserves the right to waive any defect in any bid. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda delivered to all registered plan holders. Questions received less than ten (10) days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered.
