Completed plans call for site work for a transportation facility; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; for the demolition of a transportation facility; for the construction of a transportation facility; for outdoor lighting for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

The bidder shall furnish all labor, insurance, equipment, materials, and power for the complete performance of this project, which involves relocating the Craigville Depot building from its existing location to 1310 N. Harrison St. The project also includes construction of the depot's foundation, installation and connection of underground utilities throughout the site, brick paver area, and concrete curbing. Additional work includes construction of an asphalt parking lot with a storm detention pond, concrete sidewalk and curbs, parking lot lights, and landscaping. All work must be completed in accordance with the plans and specifications, and the bid and contract documents for the project. No bid will be accepted from or contract awarded to any person, firm, or corporation that is in arrears to the City, has previously failed to execute a contract satisfactorily, or is a defaulter as to surety or otherwise, upon any obligation to the City. Vendors will be charged a fee to submit a bid electronically. The commission reserves the right to reject any and all bids for failure to comply with applicable laws or instructions to bidders and reserves the right to waive any defect in any bid. Est.
