Sealed, lump sum bids are requested for the purchase of variable frequency drives, programmable logic controllers, and related equipment for installation at a sewer/storm water pump station. Bids must be accompanied by a bid proposal deposit in the form of cash, a certified check, cashier's check, postal money order, or surety bond payable to the City of Hoquiam, in an amount not less than five percent of the bid. The successful bidder is required to enter into a contract within ten days of notification, or the bid proposal deposit will be forfeited. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids or waive informalities in the bidding and will select the lowest responsible bidder.
