Renovation of a multi-residential development in Danville, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development.
Provide and install new finishes on the second and third floors of the existing mid-rise apartment building. Finishes include new flooring, wall coverings, wall base, ceilings, corner guards, doors, and lighting throughout the common areas. Sealed bid proposals are to be submitted by bona fide General Construction contract bidders. Bidders must submit a certified check, bank draft, U.S. Government Bonds, or satisfactory Bid Bond in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the Base Bid, payable to the Housing Authority of Montour County. The successful bidder must furnish and pay for satisfactory Performance and Labor & Material Payment Bonds, each in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price, and a one-year Maintenance Bond. Costs for all bonds are the responsibility of the contractor and must be included in the submitted Base Bid. Attention is called to the provision for equal employment opportunity, compliance with Section 3 Regulations (employment opportunities for low-income persons in HUD-funded construction and modernization projects), and the payment of not less than the wages set forth in the Specifications. No bids shall be withdrawn for sixty calendar days after the bid opening without written consent of the Housing Authority. The Housing Authority of Montour County reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities in bids.
